The target identified was involved in manufacturing of more than a single brand’s products, all counterfeits of big brands. These products are low quality and low-priced products that are produced in large quantities, impacting the entire market.
Once the target was confirmed, Checkers Raiding Team in coordination with Local Enforcement Agency (Police) conducted Anti – Counterfeit Enforcement Action. The raid was conducted against the target at the time production was still in process and stock was still within premises. All counterfeit products were confiscated, and destroyed.
Conducting regular Anti -Counterfeiting Raids is an important measure adopted by Brand Owners to reduce and eliminate the counterfeit products in the markets and put an end to them from the source.
